While a fees model based on a percentage of media spend has become the standard in advertising - we don't believe in it. There is no avoiding the fact that when fees are based on your spend, the advice you're getting contains bias. Further, the labour associated with managing media is nonlinear: more often than not, your next dollar in media spend requires no extra media management time. Time paid for and not spent.
Our resolution is simple - when measurables are clear, we tie a portion of fees to outcomes (your revenue, leads, awareness measures, or profitability) rather than inputs (how much you're spending). When measurement is less clear, we run a simple and fair retainer to determine a baseline, before eventually evolving into something performance-based.
